Wet Shower Room Transformation at Woolwich in London.

Dear clients! We would like to share our latest successful project with Fabulous Wet Shower Room Installation at Woolwich in London. Big THANK YOU to our client for his trust on our company, as he had been away on holiday while we carried out the renovation.

Basically, the customer mentioned he wanted to get rid of the existing bathtub and tiles and replace with a shower cabin or similar. Basically, standard procedure for us, but after our visit we got a better idea of the situation and realised that since the renovation would be in a block of flats, it may be more complicated than we originally thought.

Customer also mentioned, he will be away from the UK and we had 14 days to complete the work until he came back.

 Well, that was the situation and we decided to communicate on a daily basis through Whatsapp to provide updates and deliver our services on time with less stress to the customer:

⚡️ Day 1 – Shopping with customer by visiting few stores, checking products, comparing products and prices, purchasing and helping with deliveries and collections;

⚡️ Day 2 – Property protection, demolition;

⚡️ Day 3 –  As we offered wet shower room installation, we been aware that customer want everything sealed properly, we needed to choose the right shower screen as an existing concrete column could not be removed. So, to save his money for the shower screen (a bespoke screen may be very expensive) we chose a standard closest size shower screen with sliding door. Additionally, we gained an additional 2cm by removing some render from the column and started with plumbing work;

⚡️ Day 4  – First fix plumbing work for the wet shower channel, Grohe toilet frame, vanity unit, and Methven mixer shower set;

⚡️Day 5 – Insulated walls with Rockwool, closing shower area with backer boards, waterproofing using Mapei bathroom kit, closing rest of wall in the shower room with moist resistant plasterboard, including sealing;

⚡️ Day 6 – First fix electric work for the new dimmable spotlights, new extractor fan with a timer and humidity sensor, LED mirror, towel rail;

⚡️ Day 7 – Skimming, preparation for tilling work inc self-levelling compound;

⚡️ Day 8  – Bespoke handcrafting tilling work which included nice black trims, and custom made quartz shelves which we got from previous client (please look this 2 projects) and;

⚡️ Day 9 – Grouting and second fix electric and plumbing work. Basically, we finished, but due shower sliding door delivery which has been late, we offered the client to carry out some additional work outside the bathroom: change his old consumer unit, add Led lighting under kitchen units and instal some additional USB sockets in the living room;

⚡️ Day 10 – Cleaning, rubbish disposal, wrong shower screen arrived, reorder;

⚡️ Day 11 to 14 – SHOWER SCREEN ARRIVED and has been installed, this was our happiest day in 2021.

We would like to share a short video and some photos with you
