Six Bedroom House Renovation at Peckham, South East London
We completed this project in two months, our priority on any job we undertake is to provide the best result we can; we are flexible and do our best to meet our client’s needs.
This project was to renovate a 6-bedroom house, there were two tenants occupying rooms in the house. This proved to be a challenge for us, as we had to work round them, particularly as one of the tenants was at home all day.
We knew this client quite well as we spent 4 months renovating their property next door, which we completed in April 2020. They wanted the same standard of work, although this job was on a much smaller scale. The tenants knew us as they are neighbours and they have seen the quality and standard of our wore. Whilst interaction with the tenants was good, we still had to ensure safety measures were in place.
We supplied all material and purchased fittings and fixtures, this makes it hassle free for the customer, we save our client time and money as we can often utilise on trader’s discount.
Following inspection of the property we were able to recommend:
So, detailed programme of work:
✅ Demolition, cleaning had to take place every day as tenants were on site.
✅ Rewiring was undertaken with minimum disconnection.
✅ Adding new wire for new sockets and lights.
✅ 240v main power smoke alarms with battery backup in each room and on the landing, plus main power emergency lighting connected.
✅ Plumbing, there was minimum disruption to the household.
✅ Installed new combi boiler and power flash all radiators incl changing valves.
✅ Removed wallpaper, made walls good ready for plastering.
✅ Plastering the whole house except for two bedrooms which were occupied.
✅ Installed 8 fire regulated doors.
✅ Extended downstairs toilet to include shower, installed new plumbing and waste system.
✅ Renovated and modernised upstairs bathroom.
✅ Removed all unused TV & BT cables from the walls.
✅ Refreshed storage room and added bespoke cabinets.
✅ Refreshed the kitchen and landing area.
✅ Installed new laminate flooring to the ground floor.
✅ Painting whole house, walls, ceiling, skirting boards and staircase.
✅ Installed new bespoke exterior door with new locks and hinges.
✅ Installed new skylight and fibreglass flat roof, cleaned gutters and removed moss and algae from the tiles.
✅ Exterior work included painting and repairing wall.
✅ Rubbish collection and provided full cleaning service.
