Flat Roof Replacement, London, N14
This project involved the complete replacement of an ageing felt roof on a garden outbuilding in North London completed in June 2026.
Following the removal of the existing waterproofing system, our team carried out a full inspection of the roof structure. During this process, areas of deteriorated roof decking were identified and replaced to ensure a sound and durable substrate for the new installation.
To improve the roof’s drainage performance, new timber firrings were installed to create more effective falls and minimise the risk of standing water. The roof was then over boarded using structural-grade OSB3 decking before being finished with a Cure It GRP fibreglass roofing system.
The installation included:
⚡️Removal and responsible disposal of the existing felt roof covering;
⚡️Inspection of the roof structure and replacement of defective decking where required;
⚡️Installation of timber firrings to improve falls and water run-off;
⚡️Installation of new structural-grade OSB3 roof decking;
⚡️Supply and installation of GRP edge trims;
⚡️Application of Cure It resin and fibreglass matting;
⚡️Final Cure It topcoat finish;
⚡️Thorough site clean-up upon completion.
The result is a seamless, durable and low-maintenance roofing solution designed to provide many years of reliable protection against the elements.
